to figure this photo upload thing out and my patience was lost by noon today.

This is my best blog ever!

I just dropped my car off at the Volkswagen dealer in Glendale, after having visited TransOcean VW in Pasadena. I was happy to see that the service dept was still open when I arrived at the Pasadena location. I explained my car problems to the customer service rep and he told me that it sounded like my transmission was slipping. So after going back and forth with this young fella as to why he couldnt guarantee that my car would even be looked at tomorrow (cause they were booked solid even though they failed to fix my car 2 weeks ago) I socked him in the teeth and kicked him in the knees and stormed out after saying that I would take my business elsewhere (approx $3000). So then I got to drive to the Glendale dealer and I think my car barely made it. So unless we have a miracle I will be spending $3K on my car this weekend. I am one lucky girl. There will be no Christmas in this household.

by the way, that $3K would have been the pay off amount on my car. like I wanted to pay off my car anyways.

Anyone wanna buy a 2001 VW GTI - only 53,400 miles on it. after tomorrow its gonna run like one bad ass mo fo.

Now I am at home. I shouldnt be out on the streets with this attitude anyways.

Its not my birthday anymore but the free food keeps on coming

Its Thursday at 11:33 so that means its time to procrastinate.

I had dinner with my friend Kristen last night. Ate a whole lotta tortilla chips and a veggie tostada and realized that my diet needs to change dramatically or is it drastically? Not sure. which one sounds better?

I had a hell of a time at home last night. It was like one big party. I was home and in my pajamas by 7:40 and then turned on the tv and browsed the internet for the next 2 hours. Thinking of taking up a drug habit to pass the time. any suggestions. never had one but I might as well experiment in my 30s. Or maybe I just need Tivo.

This morning I went for a nice walk to starbucks. Saw Magnus on my way- he was all dressed up-stop by his desk for a look. Saw Christi Brockway. We exchanged pleasantries. Had to hit 2 starbucks and neither had my low fat lemon zucchini muffin - however the holiday drinks and decor are now available at your neighborhood starbucks. Please take note of that.

Was very productive this morning at my desk. Think I am set for my day off. and think I can properly goof off after lunch today.

I have to drop my car off at the dealer tonight - if I am lucky I will have to take out a loan to pay for the repairs. Sorry Rune wont be able to make it to your gig. Because I will be carless I decided to take the floating holiday (instead of dealing with the gold line - i dont like public transportation) and expect to do absolutely nothing all day long. You will however be able to contact me in the virtual world. At minimum I expect an email from my fellow bloggers at least once an hour.

Keep an eye out for my post lunch blog as well as my day off blog and my saturday afternoon blog. think i will take some pictures of myself with tommy lasorda and think i will do some laundry - that should give me a lot to write about.

so its still my birthday

just ate a piece of mudd pie. there might be a heart attack in my future. did you know that heart disease is the number one killer of women in america. i think thats what I heard - but dont hold me to that statistic.

its 4:43 and I am proud to say that I have really not done any real work today.

I wonder what the next decade holds in store for me. marriage? children? a dog? whiter teeth? plastic surgery? a democrat in the white house? time will tell - hopefully you will still know me or at least have access to this blog so you can read as my life changes from talking about all the fun i have now to discussing bbq's and dog shit.

Birthday Number 30

Today is my 30th birthday!

Over the next 24 hours I plan to eat my weight in food. The day started with a light breakfast consisting of a lofat lemon zucchini muffin, and an odwalla strawberry banana smoothie. That was followed by lunch with my coworkers at Pit Fire Pizza (main and 2nd street) where I consumed spaghetti and turkey meatballs (in the spirit of thanksgiving) with a slice of bread. The DASH ride back was eventful as I stared at two wino-o's who were fast asleep and then all of sudden they got their second wind and stumbled off the bus. gotta love that public transportation. Upon my return I received a mystery delivery of a new cordless phone and then went for a birthday walk with my pals Shannon, Rune and Magnus. Fun was had by all.

The eating has stopped. but will pick up again when my surprise birthday cake is served.

Tonight I am going out with my Bowl bitches in Hollywood. I hope to be sober enough to drive though I recently saw a billboard that said "Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving" - who knew.

I will pick up where this left off later this evenining. Will post some exciting pix from my fun filled weekend ASAP.
