A brief update

Hi All. It's been a while - hope this finds you well.

Chatalie has behaved herself over the past year. At 31 she is happy, healthy (or is it wealthy) and wise. No major disasters to report. Happy that there have been no car troubles this year. Got rid of that awful GTI after putting $5K into it. Hopefully its treating someone as well as it treated me.

Alcohol: I have decided that December will be as good a time as any to pick up that drinking habit. Its a good thing that I have a couple of friends coming into town who can assist. Let me know if you want to help. I am available on the following evenings: Monday-Thursday and Saturdays and lets not forget Sunday afternoons.

Work: I do work honest! but there is a falcon outside the office. Pretty awesome, all the other birds were jealous and did their best kamikaze dives to drive it off its perch. Went away before I could snap a pic. Maybe he will come back tomorrow for a visit. I'll let you know.

Running: I am currently training for my 2nd marathon. Training consists of a 60-70 min run on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Followed by an agonizing Saturday morning run. A 15 miler is in store on Saturday. Now that I got my heater to work this morning I cant use the "its too cold to get out of bed excuse". I liked that excuse. Now I will have to trade off with "I think I am coming down with something and that would be bad to get sick now and ruin all of this training" and "sometimes you need to rest your body" excuse. If I can just avoid a major fall this year, that would be great. Luckily I tipped over and bounced off the sidewalk while walking down the street on Saturday. It was a good laugh.

Grub: Anyone been to the Oinkster in Eagle Rock? Sounds good. Shannon cover your eyes?

Travel: I will be visiting Steph and Jeff in London in late January. Any good tips on restaurants/pubs/clubs/exhibits would be greatly appreciated.

Music: Still enjoying The Killers latest and greatest. Also down with that Young Folks song by Peter Bjorn and John. So catchy. and it makes me happy - and lets face it kids, thats what life is all about. Curious about the Beatles Love album (are they still called albums?). Also want to check out Beck's latest.

I think thats it for my update. Its been a while. Hopefully I will return shortly and maybe this time I can figure out how to upload some pix.
